چکیده

Since the early 1990s, pulsating heat pipe (PHP) has emerged as one of most innovative, effective and potentially more convenient passive two-phase transfer systems, thanks to its good performance, versatility, construction simplicity. On other hand, PHP is characterized by complex thermohydraulic behaviour that still presents a true challenge designers, which led significant interest growing number researchers. The technological readiness level (TLR) this technology quite broad depending on application: for instance, industrial community starting consider reliable solution electronic cooling in ground conditions, while implementations cryogenic temperature range space environments also being extensively explored. This vision paper aims at shedding light current knowledge prediction capability numerical models, unsolved phenomenological issues, challenges future perspectives fascinating device. Specifically, after general introduction brief overview open issues PHPs, special focus devoted following topics: flat-plate assessments; advancements modelling simulation; flow stabilization techniques; non-conventional fluids subdivided into fluid mixtures, self-rewetting fluids, nanofluids; applications, finally newest frontiers flexible PHPs. Each section accompanied roadmap providing directions research based key challenges, are gathered summarized final outlook section.

Study about heat transfer coefficient of water-nanofluid in pulsating heat pipes

Pulsating heat pipe is an efficient heat exchange device which is being used for cooling and heating recovery. In the present work, we made a closed-loop pulsating heat pipe with six U-turns and we used water in our system. Moreover the use of water-Fe3O4 nanofluid was studied with two different filling ratios 40% and 50% and 1% mass concentration. At the end we calculated heat resistance and h...
